Tasting notes

Reviewed by: Eric Guido
The 2021 Bianco Testamatta is a total pleasure to take in, with its bouquet of white flowers, almond paste and young peach dazzling the senses. This is silky, nearly opulent in feel, with brisk acidity to balance as apricot and exotic spice notes cascade across the palate. The Bianco Testamatta becomes almost salty through the finish while remaining crisply refreshing as nuances of Bosc pear and honeyed inner florals fade.

A linear and fresh white with lemon rind, dried pineapple and quince with peach, too. Some wet stone. It’s medium- to full-bodied. Phenolic and polished. Structured and flavorful, in a reserved way, at the end. Drink or hold.
