About the Producer
The latest star in the renowned Girardin family, Benoit spent nine years working at the family estate before inheriting 8 hectares from his father, Yves. He now farms and bottles wine under his own name. The Girardin family has produced many great names in winemaking, including his uncle Vincent, but Benoit is arguably the most exciting yet, with a very bright future ahead. Tasting at the Domaine for the first time is an eye-opening experience, revealing impressive transparency to terroir across the different cuvées. The vineyards are harvested by hand, and all red wines are de-stemmed with no filtration. Stylistically, Benoit's wines are supple, food-friendly, and gourmand, making them well-regarded by sommeliers and frequently featured on wine lists in Paris.
