Château-Gris is an 18th-century castle located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, surrounded by a 3.5-hectare walled vineyard. Its slate roof, with its grey (gris) color, stands out in a region dominated by tiles. The vineyard, certified organic, is terraced and reaches an altitude of 280 meters. Pinot Noir grapes are planted near the castle, while Chardonnay grows higher up. The vines, averaging over 40 years old, benefit from the vineyard's altitude, east-facing slope, and clay-limestone soil, resulting in the production of fine and elegant wines. Since 2018, the wines of Château-Gris have been certified as "organic wine."
