About the Producer

McHenry Hohnen Vintners, founded in 2004 by David Hohnen and his brother-in-law Murray McHenry, is located in the Margaret River region of Australia. The winery sources grapes exclusively from family-owned vineyards, with winemaking led by Jacopo Dalli Cani. Formerly known as Rocky Road Vineyard, Hazel’s Vineyard has been organically farmed since 1997, transitioning to biodynamics in 2008 under viticulturist Mike Sleegers. The winery achieved formal biodynamic certification in July 2020. McHenry Hohnen focuses on creating vibrant wines through a 'hands-off' philosophy, emphasizing the unique expression of each grape variety and its environment while promoting holistic and sustainable farming practices.
