About the Producer
Established in 2002 in the pristine foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, Xiangdu Winery (La Champs D'or) has become a benchmark for China’s burgeoning wine industry. The winery's recent vintage releases have been scooping up Gold and Silver medal awards from the prestigious wine competition Concours Mondiale de Bruxelles, winning over quality wines from traditional winemaking regions from around the world. Located in Yanqi County’s mineral-rich alluvial plains, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate—3,400 annual sunshine hours, dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, super low annual rainfall averaging 67mm a year, 180 frost-free days a year, and access to pure snowmelt water for irrigation.
